Eviction Notice: Fear, Anxiety & Doubt Don’t Live Here Anymore

Fear anxiety doubt can knock on your door, but they don’t have to move in and stay. If you’ve felt the weight of the world pressing in lately — the headlines, the uncertainty, the knot that shows up in your stomach before your feet even hit the floor — you are not imagining it, and you are not weak. The world feels heavy right now, and it’s landing hardest on the women who hold everyone else together.

This is for you. All of you. Whether you’ve walked with God your whole life, whether you walked away, or whether you’re just quietly wondering if there’s something bigger holding you — you belong in this. You don’t have to have it figured out to start taking your peace back today.

Your mind is not a place fear gets to live rent-free

Somewhere along the way, fear moved in. Anxiety made itself comfortable. Worry started acting like it paid rent. But here’s the thing about your mind, your home, your life: they belong to you. And a trespasser — no matter how long it’s stayed — can be served notice.

That’s the whole idea. You are not begging the heaviness to leave. You are informing it that it never had the right to stay.

Four things you can evict today

Take a breath and name what’s been squatting in your thoughts. Then serve it notice, one at a time:

Fear — Fear lies about how the story ends. There’s an old promise worth holding onto: you were not made for a spirit of fear, but for power, love, and a sound mind.

Anxiety — You were never meant to carry it all alone. Set it down. Hand it over to something stronger than the moment you’re in.

Worry — Today already has enough in it. Tomorrow is not yours to carry yet.

Doubt — You don’t need perfect certainty to take one step. Even “I’m not sure, but I’m willing” is a beginning.

You don’t have to evict all four in one day. Start with the loudest one.

Drawing a line on what keeps coming back

Sometimes you push something out and it circles right back. That’s not failure — that’s exactly why you draw a firm line. Your peace, your mind, your home, and the people you love are off limits. You’re allowed to say no, not here, not anymore— and to keep saying it until it sticks.

You don’t owe what you’ve already been forgiven

So much of the weight women carry isn’t fear of the future — it’s the debt of the past. Shame. Guilt. The voice that keeps reading your record back to you. Here is the quiet, stubborn truth at the center of this brand and this faith: that debt has already been paid. You can stop dragging around a bill that was settled long ago.

Whatever you believe about how that happened, you are allowed to walk lighter starting now.

Your declaration — say it out loud

Speak it where you can hear yourself. Words have weight when you mean them:

My mind is not for rent. Fear, you’re evicted. Anxiety, you have no lease here. Worry and doubt, your notice has been served. I draw the line — my peace, my home, and the people I love are off limits. I don’t owe what’s already been forgiven. I am held. I am free. And I’m taking my ground back.

When the world feels like too much, remember

The world will keep doing what the world does. But you are not as alone in it as fear wants you to believe. There is a love that fights for you whether you’ve noticed it or not — and an invitation that’s been open the whole time.

You belong to something bigger than this heavy season. Walk bold. Breathe deep. Take your ground.

If you need a quiet place to set all of this down, the free prayer journal is yours — no matter where you are on the journey. And if these words met you today, save the reminder pins and come back to them whenever the weight returns. You’re welcome here, exactly as you are. courageandredemption.com/free-prayer-journal
